Whirlpool WP8566022 Washer Control Knob

The Whirlpool WP8566022 Washer Control Knob transfers user-selected settings to the control interface, allowing cycle selections or adjustments to be entered through the front panel. It is fitted onto the corresponding control shaft, where its position aligns with the markings and switching system behind the panel. Rotation of the knob interfaces electrically with the selector, changing the electrical or electronic command recognized by the control system. Its selected position communicates the chosen setting so the washer can coordinate the proper sequence, timing and operating stages of each cycle.
