Viking PD040004 Range Grate Foot

The Viking PD040004 Range Grate Foot controls a support point beneath the element, maintaining its position above the appliance surface. It fits into the corresponding underside of the grate and contacts the supporting surface below, providing the required spacing between the two areas. It is mounted at the specified grate location and seats within the recess or mounting point and remains positioned during cooking. It assists in keeping the grate level, supports stable cookware positioning, reduces direct contact with the cooktop surface and maintains the intended grate position during normal range operation.
