Description

The Moen 147559 Handle Adapter is used to attach the faucet handle to the internal cartridge stem to allow the transfer of user input to the valve mechanism to be controlled. It is a mechanical interface that converts the rotational or lifting motion of the handle into motion of the cartridge to regulate water flow. The adapter is fitted in the handle assembly, which connects to the handle body. It is used together with the faucet control system to ensure consistent handle response, correct alignment and consistent operation in the normal water flow and temperature adjustment cycles.
