Description

The Magic Chef 4415A17352 Microwave Door Microswitch is used to operate the door interlock system which senses the presence or absence of the appliance door. It works on an internal contact mechanism whereby an electrical circuit is opened or closed the door latch attaches to the switch. It is mounted behind the control panel or frame in the door latch assembly to the safety circuit of the appliance. Making sure that the microwave is turned on only when the door is closed properly contributes to safe working and assists in keeping the heating operation properly activated.
